Cedar Creek @ home

Visits to Cedar Creek are on hold during the pandemic, but that doesn't mean you can't explore the research station online through citizen science, virtual tours and online events.

Fox yawning

A trail camera caught a red fox yawning while walking across the snow at Cedar Creek Ecosystem Science Reserve.

Eyes on the Wild

Come with us on an “armchair exploration” of Cedar Creek and explore the beautiful landscape of the reserve through our network of remote camera traps! These hidden cameras, deployed across the nine-square mile Cedar Creek property, provide a sneak peek into the secret lives of animals.

Virtual tours

Take a virtual walk out to the iconic Cedar Bog Lake in summer, spring and fall, and learn about the flora and fauna along the way!

Online events

The station hosts a range of events from nature hikes to wildlife tracking workshops and talks with scientists. Check out the online offerings this spring.
